Towards a Cleaner Future: The Zero Discharge Initiative
A framework for a planned Zero Discharge Policy (ZDP) was introduced in Selangor and proposed to come into effect in early 2025. Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) has kindly share with stakeholders on the ZDP in the Forum. Additionally, the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) will discuss how the WSIA is being enhanced to include penalties for parties that disrupt water production and supply due to unauthorized discharges from their activities.
