At the General Assembly of the International Water Association in Toronto on August 10, Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohmad Asari Daud, President of the Malaysian Water Association and CEO of Syarikat Air Perlis, has been elected as Vice President of the International Water Association. This prestigious role will see him serve for two years, until the General Assembly in 2026 in Glasgow.

Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohmad Asari's election as Vice President is a remarkable achievement that aligns with Kuching, Sarawak being chosen as the host city for the 2028 World Water Congress and Exhibition, where he also serves as the Congress President.
