Professional bodies award Continuing Professional Development hours to BIWWEC2024 participants

KUCHING (Oct 16): Delegates attending the Borneo Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference 2024 (BIWWEC2024) will earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.

The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) has awarded 10 CPD hours for participants, while the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) has recognised the conference with 18 CPD hours.

BIWWEC2024 is set to take place on Oct 23-25 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching and will feature keynote speeches from industry leaders, technical sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

The conference aims to address the latest innovations, best practices, and regulatory developments in the water and wastewater sector.

“We are thrilled to provide delegates with the chance to earn CPD hours during BIWWEC2024,” said Klevin Kuek, chairman of MWA Sarawak Branch, the organiser of BIWWEC2024.

“This initiative not only supports the professional development of attendees but also promotes continuous learning in an industry that is crucial to public health and environmental sustainability.”

The award of CPD hours is an essential aspect of professional growth for engineers and technologists, enabling them to keep their skills and knowledge up to date in a rapidly evolving field.
